COVID-19 and our Service

One You East Sussex Update:

With Covid-19 firmly in everyone’s thoughts, we have moved to a remote service for client and staff safety.

Our priority is to protect the health of our staff and also the many clients that we support each week. Many of our clients that we work with are vulnerable with long term health conditions and, as such, we can better protect you all at this time if you don’t need to come into clinics.

One You East Sussex is currently working hard to establish effective means to be able to support you via online platforms and telephone based services. Please do not turn up to your clinic locations.

How We’re Helping:

All clients who are receiving treatment for Smoking Cessation or seeing a Health Coach (move more, eat well, drink less) will still be getting full support however all appointments will now be communicated via phone service. As part of Smoking Cessation, we will be sending Nicotine Replacement Therapy to client’s home addresses.

Adult Weight Management Update

The Adult Weight Management Service WILL be running its upcoming courses as close to normal as possible during this difficult and unprecedented time.

We will still be offering a 10 week course covering topics such as – How to portion control, Sugars and Fats, The importance of physical activity and Meal planning. 🍏🥑🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️
The entire nutritional content of the course will be delivered via an online video platform wherever possible or through telephone consultations where preferred. 💻📞
For the physical activity aspect of the course, we will be producing exercise videos for everyone to use in the comfort of their own home, with safety guidance from our expert team. 🏡

If you have already been referred and are due to start your course in April, the team will be in touch with you shortly to discuss and answer any questions you may have.
If you’re interested in our future courses, you can fill out a self referral on our website under the ‘Get Started’ button. The course has an eligibility criteria of participants having a BMI of 25 or above.

We would also recommend that you follow our social media pages to stay up to date with further news.

Should you have any further questions, please contact the member of staff you have been working with on your clinic or group. We are reviewing this situation on a frequent basis and we hope to be back to normal very soon.
